چکیده فارسی
تغییرات آب و هوایی چالش بزرگ و پیچیده ای است که در حال حاضر اقتصاد جهانی با آن مواجه است و به طور چشمگیری بر ارزیابی دارایی های مالی جهانی و ثبات سیستم مالی تأثیر می گذارد. سقوط قیمت سهام زمانی اتفاق می افتد که قیمت سهام شرکت های بزرگ بورسی در مدت زمان کوتاهی به شدت کاهش یابد.این مقاله با اتخاذ یک روش آنالیز متنی، معیار جدیدی از افشاء ریسک آب و هوا در سطح شرکت ایجاد می‌کند. در این مطالعه بررسی می کنیم که آیا افشاء ریسک آب و هوا در اعلامیه‌های شرکت های بورسی می‌تواند به طور موثر ریسک سقوط قیمت سهام را کاهش دهد. مطالعات نشان داده‌اند که هر چه شرکت‌ها بیشتر نگران باشند و ریسک آب و هوا را به صورت مثبت‌تر افشا کنند، ریسک سقوط قیمت سهام در آینده کمتر می‌شود. علاوه بر این، در مقایسه با کاهش عدم تقارن اطلاعاتی بین مدیران داخلی و سرمایه‌گذاران خارجی، افزایش افشاء اطلاعات برای کاهش ریسک سقوط قیمت سهام در آینده، عمدتاً از طریق کانال افزایش آگاهی عمومی از ریسک آب و هوا حاصل می‌شود. همچنین، اثر کاهشی افشای اطلاعات مربوط به ریسک آب و هوا بر ریسک سقوط قیمت سهام در آینده در تولید، معدن، انرژی، کشاورزی، جنگلداری، دامپروری و ماهیگیری که مستقیماً توسط تغییرات آب و هوایی تهدید می‌شوند، مشهودتر است. به طور کلی، ما شرکت ها را تشویق می کنیم تا ریسک های بالقوه تغییرات آب و هوایی را در اعلامیه های گزارش های فصلی و سالانه در قالب استاندارد افشا کنند.

Abstract
Climate change is a major and complex challenge currently facing the global economy, and significantly impacting the valuation of global financial assets and the financial system’s stability. When the stock prices of large-scale listed companies fall sharply in a short time, we consider that a stock price crash. This paper constructs a novel measure of climate risk disclosure at the firm level by adopting a textual analysis method. We study whether climate risk exposure in listed company announcements can effectively reduce stock price crash risk. Studies have shown that, the more companies are concerned and disclose climate risk more positively, the lower the risk of stock price crash they face in the future. In addition, compared to alleviating the information asymmetry between internal managers and external investors, enhancing information disclosure to mitigate the risk of a stock price crash in the future is mainly achieved through the channel of raising the public’s awareness of climate risk. Moreover, the mitigation effect of information disclosure related to climate risk on future stock price crash risk is more evident in manufacturing, mining, energy, agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry, and fishery directly threatened by climate change. In general, we encourage corporates to disclose the potential risks of climate change in the announcement of quarterly and annual reports in a standardized format.

۱.Introduction
Climate change is one of the causes of significant structural changes in the economic and financial space. Climate change will have a comprehensive, long-term, and overturning impact on investor companies. The increasingly severe climate problem will fundamentally reshape and integrate global asset portfolios, as the capital market will usher in a faster-than-expected re-allocation of financial assets. Undoubtedly, the climate issue is enough to stand at the height of the times and arouse the attention of all walks of life. Nevertheless, we have to admit that climate risk is still severely underestimated (Krueger et al., 2020). This is due to the underestimation of climate risk that enables the valuation of the microeconomic system to maintain a fragile equilibrium.
In the process of asset reshaping due to climate change, the information avoidance and information asymmetry, and the subsequent herd behavior and cascading effect are likely to cause stock prices to crash in the future. The economic consequences of some hidden risks are more worrying than the crash in stock prices, such as potential capital chain rupture, disruption of energy supply (Gong et al., 2021), financing difficulty, etc. (Jaffe, 2020)…
۶.Conclusion
We must be aware that the differences in the development structure will bring about disordered, uncoordinated, and discontinuous low-carbon transitions, which will inevitably pay high economic and social costs. In the process of resource replacement and asset restructuring, especially because climate risk is underestimated to varying degrees in different industries, stock prices may collapse. That is, a large-scale plunge in the stock prices of listed companies in a short time, which will trigger economic turbulence and other more serious consequences. After analyzing the reasons for the occurrence of the stock price crash, we put forward a core hypothesis of this paper. Increasing the disclosure of information related to climate risk can effectively reduce the risk of a stock price crashes in the future. And then, adopting the method of text analysis, we innovatively construct the climate risk disclosure indicator to verify this hypothesis…
